When attending a Level 1 Firearms Instructor Course, you can expect to learn the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to teach firearm safety and shooting techniques. The course typically covers topics such as firearm safety rules, firearm handling and storage, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship principles, range safety, and training techniques.

The course may involve classroom instruction and practical shooting exercises on the range. You will also learn how to develop lesson plans and communicate effectively with students.

In addition to the core curriculum, you may be required to pass a shooting proficiency test and demonstrate your ability to handle and operate firearms safely.

Upon completing the course, you will be dually certified as a Level 1 Firearms Instructor and an NRA Firearms Instructor, allowing you to teach basic firearm safety and shooting techniques.
